ICE Fishing Derbies
Date of tournament: One day tournament on Sunday February 16, 2020. (8am to 1pm)
Location of Tournament: 50 Lake Drive North, Keswick, ON
Entry Fee: $250 per team (Team of 2). Lottery Tickets $10.00 each.
Prizes: $50, 000 in prizes to be won. Plus random draw prizes including an Argo ATV.
CASH PRIZE for heaviest 12 Yellow Perch: 1st Place: $10,000, 2nd place: $2000, 3rd Place: $1500. Prizes down to 10th place.
Event Info: Anglers fish in a team of two. Heaviest 12 Perch weighed in the tournament wins. Also, prizes for top 3 heaviest Perch. Derby is between 8am to 1pm.
In support of Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities; a national charity dedicated to providing kids from low-income families with the opportunity to experience the benefits of organized sports and physical activities.

Location of Tournament: South Shore Community Center, Barrie, ON.
Entry Fee: $85 per person.
Prizes: $50, 000 in prizes to be won. 1st place last year was a 2017 Kawasaki Mule Utility vehicle. Prizes down to 50th place.
Event Info: A 3 hour tournament where anglers choose a pre-drilled hole in a sectioned off fishing location in Barrie (Kempenfelt Bay). Heaviest fish (of any species) wins. Prizes from 1st down to 50th place. 1000 angling spots open for 2020.

Location of Tournament: Sibbald Point Provincial Park, Georgina, ON
Entry Fee: $100.00 per team (Team of 2) (Plus winter park entry fee Sibbalds Point Provincial Park)
Prizes: 1st place last year was $4000 Cash. Big Perch contest paid out $600 prize package.
Event Info: Anglers can fish in a team of two. Heaviest 10 Perch weighed in the tournament wins. Also prize for heaviest perch. A designated fishing area near Sibbalds Point Provincial Park where anglers can drill their own holes. Tournament is a one day event usually between 8am to 1pm.
Doug Poirier the Founder and Director of the tournament was diagnosed in late 2009 with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Doug's MS unfortunately has continued to get worse and he now is in a wheelchair. Money raised from the tournament goes towards helping people directly with MS and finding a cure to the disease.
Date of tournament: Take place between January 18 to February 14, 2019. Final day of tournament (Qualified anglers to fish the last day) is February 15, 2020.
Location of Tournament: Tournament will include all of Lake Simcoe. Final day of tournament will be held at 6th Line, Innisfil, Cooks Bay (Exact fishing area to be determined based on ice conditions).

Prizes: Grand Prize: $2500, 2nd Prize: $1500, 3rd Prize: $750.
Event Info: Presented by True North Fishing Outfitters, this 28 day tournament will focus on the biggest Yellow Perch and Lake Whitefish. Anglers can fish anywhere on Lake Simcoe and will use the "Fish Donkey" App to document fish catches. There will be 4 winners (2 anglers for perch, 2 anglers for whitefish) each week that will compete on the final day of the tournament on February 15, 2020 in Cooks Bay, Lake Simcoe.
